Spring is a time of motivation, yardwork, and thunderstorms here in Kansas, it also happens to coincide with May Day!
May Day is an ancient holiday, celebrated all the way before Roman times to welcome the springtime with celebrations of flowers and joy!
A traditional celebration among younger children is to place may day baskets on doors while knocking or ringing the doorbell and running away dates all the way back to medieval England!
If you celebrate may day or not, we’d recommend spending some time outdoors this season and really enjoy the natural beauty of Kansas.
